FACILITIES
The Department of Broadcast Communication facilities are made for the students and professors. The facilities help to develop the students which give a conducive learning environment and the teaching environment for the professors. Facilities are also the aid for a better communication around the college.
TV Studio
The TV Studio is a soundproof room that provides access for students and faculty in technical aspects such as editing, film making, film archives and film viewing.
The TV Studio is made up of audio and video equipments such as television, DVD players, microphone, speakers, and et cetera. Also, it is fully airconditioned that is conducive for holding film viewing activities and alike. The over-all in-charge of the TV Studio is Professor Arapia C. Ariraya with the support of the faculty and the FILAC Organization. |
The radio booth gives the students and faculty the full access of the college’s AM Productions and transmission of radio broadcast programs.
It has the DZMC 98.9 frequency since 2006. It is located inside the COC Library. Young aspiring Anchors and Disc Jockeys train here. This also serves as their training room for contests regarding radio productions. Supervised by one of the college’s organization, The Broad Circle |

The Speech Laboratory (Speech Lab) aims to provide the students’ access to a multitude of audio-visual resources that will elevate their level of learning particularly of the English language. Likewise, it aims to attain a higher rate of learning achievement in their quest to learn the English language. It can accommodate 20 to 30 students. Air-conditioned and is maintained by a regular schedule of check done by the faculty members. |
The COC Library is one of the college’s facilities located at the second floor, left wing. It provides the students the reference materials they need for academic purposes. It also keeps the record of all the theses submitted by the former students of the college which could be of help for the betterment of the future studies and theses of the students. |
